If it’s a spare or underused bathroom you’re looking to revamp in 2026, why not consider one of the most popular bathroom wishlist items – the wetroom? It works for bathrooms of all shapes and sizes, and since there is no need for a shower tray or an enclosure, you can increase your workable floor area, which is particularly ideal in space-challenged ensuites.

With endless design opportunities and clever project ideas, you can achieve the ultimate spa-like scheme. From waterproofing, drainage, and clever storage ideas, to maximising every precious inch of space, click here for our guide on creating a stylish wetroom.

  • Small home updates feel just as exciting as big renovation projects – a fresh lick of paint, a splashback tile swap, or simply new bedding or quirky bath mats can do wonders to a space, breathing new life into your scheme.
  • You know what they say: clear space, clear mind, so kick 2026 off right with a good decluttering session. Purchase a freestanding cupboard to maximise your space, decant your favourite breakfast treats in glass jars, install hooks for tea towels, and hide away spare cushions, linen, or toys in charming ottomans and rattan baskets.
  • Pattern play – inject joy into your bedroom or bathroom with classic prints. Think dainty gingham, stylish stripes, and timeless checkerboard. Bonus points if you choose mood-boosting colourways! Perfect for getting your home ready for the spring and summer seasons.

In 2026, we’re mixing and matching! Think checkered stone flooring with different coloured marbles, layered natural materials, and metallic finishes. So, if you are planning a renovation project, why not consider this trick for creating visual interest?

One of my favourite trends for 2026 is cosy, homely kitchens. And this, right here, is the perfect example – from the pale pink Calacatta Viola Estremoz marble, warm red cabinets, to the brass details across the space.

I have a bit of a thing for stylish home bars and cocooning snugs where you can take the party to after dinner dates. This whimsical design by Summer Thornton instantly caught my eye. I particularly love the dark wood, plush pink sofa, statement cushions and retro details.
