If you are dreaming of extending your kitchen in the new year, say hello to our January issue, out now, which is filled to the brim with inspiring ideas, expert advice, and real case studies to show you just what’s possible. Here is what you can expect this month…
Welcome, welcome, 2026. Howโฆ exciting โฆ it is that weโre starting a new year. (I type this with a strained grimace grin on my face, trying to convince myself of my own words!) Although, while Iโm not the biggest fan of New Yearโs (or the prospect of getting another year older), I actually donโt mind the month of January. People always seem to complain that it goes incredibly slow โ but for me, thatโs a blessing.
January marks that yet another year has been and gone in the blink of an eye, so why not embrace the one month that feels like it goes on forever, I say. Itโs the perfect time to let yourselves just โbeโ. All the pressure of Christmas has gone, and you can think back over the past year; be grateful for the good times and contemplate things that maybe didnโt go quite right.
And, at your own pace, you can start thinking about the year ahead. What do you want to include? Anything youโd like to see, or places youโd like to visit?

Time to plan your project
Essentially, January is the perfect month for dreaming and planning โ meaning what better time to start a renovation, extension, or home remodel? If you are reading this article, Iโm probably safe in saying thatโs exactly what you envisage for your 2026. Now that really is exciting!
If youโre new to KBB, I promise weโll be here for every step of your journey, from the big stuff like extensions and glazing choices, right down to the finishing details, like portable lamps and restaurant-style aesthetics.
