What’s new in bathrooms? Launches to inspire your project

New year, new project? If you are thinking about upgrading your bathroom soon, we’ve rounded up some of our favourite launches to inspire your moodboard – from customisable furniture, tactile tiles, to gracious basins and practical toilets.

Whether in joyful or neutral shades, with textured or smooth finishes, freestanding or wall-mounted, these bathroom solutions are set to add a touch of sophistication to your space. Read on to discover what’s new on the market…

Naturally sculpted bathrooms

Achieving a beautiful contrast between smooth and textured, the Marathi Bark basin from Kréte by Whitebirk is the go-to model if you want to create a subtle focal point in your bathroom. Its silhouette is softened by generous curves, while the exterior is animated by a bark-like texture that shifts subtly with changing light. This interplay of surface and shadow adds depth and tactility, making for both an expressive and practical design.

Marathi Bark comes in two tones, Blue Grey and Light Grey, both able to complement a wide range of materials and finishes, from warm woods and stone to contemporary metalwork.

Beautiful bathroom ceramics

For an earth-inspired bathroom design, look no further than Otto Tiles & Design’s first signature ceramic range. Tactile and refined, practical and durable, Terrena combines soft matt finishes, painterly glazes, and a layered palette.

The collection offers a lightweight, more affordable alternative to traditional cement and zellige tiles, while encouraging homeowners to experiment with mixing different finishes, formations, and tones.

Choose from six striking styles: the softly matt, chalk-like Stoneform, the smooth Urban Earth with a natural look and glaze, the textured Masona bricks with their irregular edges and patina, the boldly glazed Echoes, the subdued, velvety Artisan Matt, and the grounded Piazza.

Immaculate shelving

Keen to maximise storage while creating a clean, elegant scheme? The new Shelph vanity from Scudo Bathrooms, part of the brand’s Edition 21 collection – which incorporates versatile vanity units, baths, basins, trays, and accessories – is minimally chic yet impactful.

Pair it with a fluted basin design, and it will earn you bonus style points, too. Beautifully geometric, understated, and practical, Shelph combines the simplicity of a shelf with an open drawer unit.

Balearic charm

Bring some of that warm Mediterranean breeze into your bathroom with C.P. Hart’s Ibero collection. This range of geometric stone basins captures the pared-back beauty of the Balearic Islands – ideal for a coast-inspired, spa-like retreat.

With natural textures, organic forms, and muted tones, each of the basins is crafted to evoke a sense of effortless serenity. All four designs in the collection (Aneto, Cerrado, Maroma, and Teleno) feature a polished interior and a distinctive tactile exterior, and are available in Gris or Sande finish, with selected pieces in Nube.

Earthy tiling

Create a calming ambience in your shower with Claybrook’s Touchstone porcelain tile series. The range is available in two naturalistic tones, looking lovely on both walls and floors, with a surface that is slightly textured for an authentic stone feel and good slip resistance – perfect for a serene yet practical wetroom.

Souped-up loos

Homeowners have been going crazy for shower toilets lately, and for good reason. Extra-hygienic, convenient, and stylish, they offer everything you’ll ever need from your loo. The latest to join Villeroy & Boch’s ViClean series are the Supreo, Supreo Select, and Tivo models.

The first two offer interior lighting, different flow modes, automatic flushing, cleaning of the shower attachment with fresh water and UV-light disinfection, and odour absorption – with the HarmonicWave 2.0 shower jet and the patented SupremeDry dryer doing the heavy lifting. Supreo Select also comes with an eco-friendly heated seat.

At the same time, Tivo has all the essential functions of a shower toilet plus additional comfort features such as individually adjustable shower and dryer functions, odour extraction, usage recognition, and a nightlight. All are meant to make your lives just that little bit easier.

Integrated bowls

For a minimalist bathroom aesthetic, opt for the newly launched Esti collection from Kast, the brand’s first basins to be designed for drop-in and undermount installation. With built-in vanity units gaining ground, this concrete basin offers a lower-profile solution that still delivers the materiality and striking palette that Kast is known for.

With precise lines, sculpted edges, and complete with an integrated overflow, Esti is cast from a single mould, and engineered to work in either the drop-in or undermount installation format. It’s also available in Kast’s 28 colours, allowing you to create bold contrasts or subtle pairings.

Seamless screens

For a sleek design and a serene showering experience, try one of Merlyn’s four new shower profiles, added to the brand’s Arysto X collection. Brushed Brass, Matt Black, Brushed Nickel, and Brushed Gun Metal, are all made with wellness in mind, embracing a minimalist, almost frameless design that might make you feel like you’re in a wetroom instead of an enclosure. With just a few minimal accents to define the shower zone, the set-up provides an open feel coupled with an ultra-stylish look.

Serene bathroom sanitaryware

For a pared-back yet characterful design, swap stark white for pastel fixtures and fittings, just like the ones included in West One Bathrooms’ Azzurra range. Comprising a selection of basins, furniture, WCs, and shower trays, the collection comes in a choice of matt or gloss hues, with sage green, soft pinks, and neutral shades oozing quiet luxury, alongside the more statement red, yellow, and blue options – if a bolder, ‘70s-inspired look is what you’re after.

Handmade based on manual techniques handed down for generations, they’re all enhanced by Super Glaze technology, which ensures each piece resists stains and limescale for effortless maintenance. Plus, the collection’s WCs feature a patented three-litre flush system, achieving up to 70% water savings, and Vortex Flush technology to deliver a precise, quiet, and powerful clean.

Seeing double

Well known for its classic kitchens, Devol has recently ventured into the world of bathrooms, with its Victorian Washstand now receiving the ‘twin’ treatment.

Ideal for busy households, the Twin Victorian Washstand measures a generous 167cm wide and features two oval basins made from glazed Cornish clay. It also comes with a choice of two unlacquered brass tap options: a mixer style or two individual taps. Choose from three shades – Printer’s Black, Princelet Pink, and Mushroom – and pair it with a Carrara marble top for classic opulence.

Steady showering

Forget being surprised with super-hot or cold water while you shower. Hansgrohe’s Ecostat Comfort E ensures a pleasant shower experience at a constant temperature. This intuitive, minimalist thermostat is particularly handy for families with children – even if cold or hot water is used in the household, the temperature remains unchanged, plus its integrated SafetyStop function limits the temperature to a maximum of 40°C.

If you do need to increase it, you will need to press a button. The amount of water can be precisely adjusted, too, using a control handle, helping to save resources and money.

Clever bathroom customisation

If you haven’t decided on fixtures and fittings for your new project just yet, Bathrooms to Love’s new Enid collection can help, offering a wealth of storage options, basins, and countertops. Choose from different-sized cabinets (including slim units with a projection of just 21.8cm) and configurations, with accessories to match.

And when it comes to basins, there are one-piece basin-worktops, washbowls, countertops, and semi-recessed or inset models – all available in slim versions, too. Enid comes in eight colours, with a selection of interior cabinet finishes and handle designs to choose from.

Cohesive schemes

If you’re struggling to match your vanity with your brassware, how about taking a pick from VitrA’s latest furniture and tap ranges? Ideal for maximising storage, the new S20 furniture range comes with ceramic washbasins, so you don’t have to worry about finding the right fit. Made from durable materials, the pieces feature soft-close drawers and tactile finishes.

Complementing them are the updated Minimax taps which reimagine the model’s classic silhouettes in a choice of warm metallics and sleek matt tones, with refined proportions, ergonomic levers, and water-efficient performance.

Island vibes

And lastly, why not turn your bathroom into a proper Greek island with The Baked Tile Company’s stunning new Santorini Shadow tile? Suitable for use on both walls and floors, the 20cm x 20cm tile looks like it’s crafted from age-worn clay, but it’s actually made from porcelain, making it incredibly versatile and easy to maintain.

Its repeating circular geometric pattern, laid in a mosaic style, will bring a dynamic sense of movement to your bathroom floor, while it comes in two soothing shades, ivory and shadow grey, that feel sophisticated and timeless.
