What’s trending: how to get your home AW25-ready

Hi, my name is Irina, and I am a fall fiend. As soon as autumn rolls around, I’ve got tartan throws, chunky cushions, cinnamon candles, and pumpkin-shaped décor at the ready…

But beyond accessories, it’s the overall mood and nature-inspired colour palette of Autumn Winter 2025 that gets me excited. Picture the golden tones of rusty leaves, deep browns of toasty conkers and caramel apples, and muted oranges of honeynut squash.

So, if you are looking to decorate your home for AW25, I’ve browsed through this season’s lookbooks and say it’s officially time to retire the sweet shades of summer and embrace darker hues instead. To discover what’s big this autumn, I’ve also asked the experts for their thoughts and predictions. From warming neutrals, dusky blues and greens, to the ever-popular jewel tones, the colour palette is rich, nostalgic and inviting.

Also on my radar…

Dark red is one of the most exciting hues this season. Also known as damson, dark berry, or burgundy, use it to add depth and interest to your kitchen, bedroom or bathroom this AW25 season and beyond. It can instantly bring warmth to a scheme, making it ideal for a cosy and cocooning atmosphere.

Don’t know where to start? You’re in luck! I’ve collated some of my favourite decorating ideas, tips, and inspiration to show you what’s possible, whether you’re shy with colour or more confident, right here.
